5% of US voters identify as single-issue crypto voters — Paradigm poll
An October 2024 poll from Paradigm revealed that 5% of U.S. respondents consider themselves single-issue crypto voters in the presidential election, indicating potential electoral impact due to their voting bloc's size. Among crypto owners surveyed, roughly 25% identified as single-issue crypto voters, with notable demographics including 11% of voters aged 18-34, 8% of male respondents, 7% of African American voters, and 8% of Hispanic voters. The 5% of pro-crypto voters exceeds the slim victory margins in swing states, which could significantly influence election outcomes. Additionally, the poll showed that 30% of respondents view the Republican Party as more trustworthy regarding crypto policy, compared to 24% for the Democrats, although 42% expressed distrust in both parties. Interestingly, neither Donald Trump nor Kamala Harris had a clear lead among crypto owners, both tied despite Trump’s large lead in betting odds. The findings suggest the potential for single-issue voting blocs, such as pro-crypto voters, to sway the results of the 2024 Presidential election.
