60% of crypto investors are young, educated and invest under $10K — Survey
A recent CryptoQuant survey finds that more than 60% of cryptocurrency investors are between the ages of 25 and 44, with 35% aged 25 to 34 and 26% from the 35 to 44 age bracket. The survey highlights the high educational attainment of these investors, showing that nearly 50% possess a bachelor's degree and 28% have advanced degrees. The demographic profile indicates a significant male presence, as 89% of respondents identify as male. Most investors reported investing less than $10,000 annually, emphasizing the dominance of retail investors. Regionally, Asia accounts for 40% of users, Europe 29%, and North America 10%. Binance is the preferred exchange, used by 53% of respondents, and most report their largest gains from this platform. Bitcoin remains the most sought-after cryptocurrency, followed by Ethereum and layer-2 solutions, underscoring a preference for established assets.
