Alchemy Pay expands US compliance with four new state licenses
Alchemy Pay has enhanced its compliance in the United States by acquiring four new money transmitter licenses (MTLs) in Minnesota, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Wyoming. This brings the company's total to eight state licenses, which also include approvals in New Hampshire and New Mexico made earlier this year. These licenses enable Alchemy Pay to offer its cryptocurrency on-ramp and off-ramp services in the newly licensed areas, facilitating smoother transactions between the US dollar and cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. Alchemy Pay aims to build a compliant framework in each licensed region and is rolling out services gradually, ensuring alignment with state requirements. The licensing process can take up to a year, with variability based on state review processes. According to the company's Chief Revenue Officer, the goal is to leverage the significant opportunities in the US crypto market while maintaining high standards as the Web3 landscape evolves.
