Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Add Billions, Breaking Record for Crypto Products
Investors have recently injected $2.2 billion into crypto funds, driven largely by Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs in the U.S. This influx has resulted in a new all-time high of $138 billion in assets under management for crypto investment vehicles, as reported by CoinShares. The year-to-date inflows now total $33.5 billion. Bitcoin products saw inflows of $1.48 billion, while Ethereum products attracted $646 million. The surge in investments follows a notable increase in Bitcoin's price, which has exceeded $93,000. This growth can be attributed to rising investor enthusiasm in the wake of recent U.S. political developments, particularly the Republican presidential victory on November 8, 2024, and promises by President-elect Trump to support the digital asset industry.
