Detective Staff Sergeant Addison Hunter stated that Tether's cooperation was crucial for the swift recovery of the stolen digital assets. Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting law enforcement in combatting cybercrime, emphasizing the importance of holding malicious actors accountable. Tether has a history of assisting law enforcement and has previously frozen funds associated with illicit activities.
