Several popular memecoins were integrated into Chainlink services, enhancing their visibility across multiple networks. Tokens like Shiba Inu (SHIB), Simon's Cat (CAT), and mog coin (MOG) are now offered on various blockchain platforms. This integration allows these tokens to leverage the Chainlink Cross-Chain Token (CCT) standard, making them accessible on 12 different blockchains beyond their original issuance. In addition to SHIB, the ecosystem tokens Turbo (TURBO) and Apu (APU) also adopted this standard. Furthermore, tokens including Coq Inu (COQ), goat (GOAT), and HMSTR from Hamster Kombat joined Ringlink’s decentralized data streams, which utilize an oracle model for constantly available market data. The CCT facilitates secure token transfers using a lock-and-mint system for Ethereum and a burn-and-mint process for other networks, broadening the potential for investment and usage of these tokens.
