Chainlink has introduced new technology aimed at enhancing data privacy for financial institutions transacting on blockchain networks. As part of this rollout, Chainlink launched two features: the Blockchain Privacy Manager, which facilitates private chain integration with the public Chainlink platform, and CCIP Private Transactions, an encryption protocol for secure transactions. ANZ Bank will be a pioneer in using these privacy-preserving capabilities specifically for the tokenized real-world asset settlements within Singapore’s Project Guardian. The technology allows institutions to securely connect private chains with public and enterprise systems while maintaining compliance with data protection regulations, such as GDPR. Chainlink emphasizes the importance of privacy in institutional transactions, anticipating that these innovations will lead to greater blockchain adoption among financial institutions.
