A scammer impersonating Coinbase support has revealed that they earn five-figure incomes weekly by targeting high-ranking crypto executives. Nick Neuman, CEO of Bitcoin solutions provider Casa, recorded a call with the scammer, who claimed they hit $35,000 in earnings just two days prior. The scammer discussed their tactics in detail, explaining how they lure in victims, including using leaked data to target software engineers and executives. They use malware links to trick individuals, emphasizing the ease of accessing company databases in the unregulated crypto space.
