Cybertruck explosion at Trump hotel linked to bomb or fireworks: Musk
Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated that the explosion of a Cybertruck outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas was caused by explosive materials carried in the vehicle. This incident is under investigation as a possible act of terror. The Cybertruck, which was filled with fireworks-style mortars, exploded at 8:40 AM local time, killing the driver and injuring seven others. Authorities are looking into whether the explosives were detonated intentionally. Musk confirmed that all telemetry data was normal at the time of the explosion. This event occurred shortly after a separate truck attack in New Orleans, where a suspect drove a vehicle into a crowd, resulting in at least 15 fatalities. Although both incidents involved rented trucks from Turo, there is currently no evidence linking them. Police are still trying to determine the identity of the deceased driver.
