The call also addressed proposed EIPs 7002 and 7521 aimed at improving user experience by reducing accidental overpayments. Discussions on isolating parts of the fork for independent activation highlighted the complexity in approaches, balancing between fine-grained control and simpler models. Another topic was Ethereum's growing data footprint, with proposals for historical data management including the Sharded Blocks Protocol as a temporary solution. Furthermore, a proposal to address edge cases in contract deployment is nearing finalization after overcoming implementation challenges.
