An Ethereum ICO participant has sold 3,000 Ether on October 24, cashing out over $7.6 million. This sale follows a previous dump of 7,000 ETH in July, which led to a notable 15% drop in ETH prices. The participant, holding a total of 254,908 ETH from the 2014 ICO, has sold a total of 10,000 ETH recently but still retains 37,070 ETH, valued at approximately $94 million. While the previous sale had a significant price impact, the latest transaction has not caused a major decline in ETH value, which is currently trading at $2,521. Despite a slight decrease over the last 30 days, Ether's value has increased by 38% over the year, according to CoinGecko. The original Ethereum ICO took place between 2014 and 2015, raising around $18 million worth of Bitcoin at that time, with the tokens initially priced at approximately $0.3 each.
