Fireblocks, an enterprise-grade digital asset platform, has announced new features aimed at enhancing compatibility with decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms, specifically Uniswap and Aave. The newly introduced Fireblocks Swaps feature will enable users to access liquidity from both Uniswap Classic and UniswapX directly within the Fireblocks console, while the Fireblocks Token Allowance Manager allows clients to better manage wallet balances and revoke permissions on potentially malicious smart contracts on Ethereum. These features are designed to reduce the complexity associated with decentralized trading, thus improving the onboarding process for institutional clients into the digital asset space. Throughout 2024, Fireblocks has been releasing tools to facilitate the entry of startups, businesses, and banks into Web3, providing treasury, self-custody, and private key management solutions. Recent activities include obtaining a regulatory license for custodial services in the U.S. and collaborating with Immutable to enhance NFT management for game developers.
