Azra Games, a mobile gaming studio founded by veteran Electronic Arts employee Mark Otero, has successfully raised $42.7 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Pantera Capital, with notable participation from a16z Crypto, a16z Games, and NFX. The funds will be critical in furthering the development of Azra's projects, particularly its flagship game, ‘Project Legends,’ and integrating blockchain technologies into its gaming offerings. According to a16z Crypto’s Arianna Simpson, Azra Games has the potential to reshape mobile RPGs by merging new experiences with digital ownership via blockchain. In addition to Azra's success, Hyve, a secured network on Symbiotic’s ecosystem, announced a $1.85 million pre-seed funding round led by Lemniscap. Other funding highlights include $210 million for Blockstream and $25 million for Bitnomial.,
