Community Gaming is launching its new prediction market platform, Forkast, on the Ronin sidechain, which supports games like Axie Infinity. The platform will allow users to stake tokens and earn rewards by making predictions on gaming, esports, Web3, and internet culture events. Forkast will utilize the Ronin Waypoint for user access and gasless transactions for claiming rewards. Forkast enables users to predict on areas of their expertise and offers loot boxes with prizes including Prediction Credits. Both Forkast and the CGX token are expected to launch in January 2025, enhancing user engagement on the Ronin network. Community Gaming sees this as a natural evolution, having built a presence on Ronin to support gaming tournaments. Sky Mavis, the creator of Axie Infinity, also emphasizes the synergy between prediction markets and gaming, highlighting Forkast as a significant addition to Ronin's ecosystem.
