Hex Crypto Founder Richard Heart Hit With Interpol Red Notice
Richard Schueler, known in the crypto world as Richard Heart, has been issued an Interpol Red Notice over allegations of tax fraud and assault. Interpol describes the notice as a request to law enforcement globally to locate and provisionally arrest him pending extradition. This notice signifies enhanced international cooperation to tackle crimes associated with cryptocurrency, including tax evasion and fraud. Schueler founded Hex, a cryptocurrency marketed as a high-yield investment, and is accused of misusing approximately $12 million for luxury goods. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) claims that Hex qualifies as an unregistered security, highlighting that its token value has decreased significantly from its peak. Additionally, Schueler faces accusations of physically assaulting a minor and is under investigation for financial misconduct extending over several years. Despite these issues, he remains active on social media, discussing his detractors and continuing to promote his initiatives.
