Hoops Game 'Rumble Kong League' Ditches Avalanche for Ethereum and Ronin
Rumble Kong League, a mobile basketball game endorsed by NBA stars Steph Curry and Paul George, has decided to switch its blockchain infrastructure from Avalanche to Ronin. This migration aims to leverage Ronin's growing ecosystem, which already boasts 17.2 million wallet downloads. The developers emphasized that this move is a significant boost for the game's future, allowing for enhanced user engagement and rewards. Initially, Rumble Kong League planned to launch on Avalanche in August 2023 but has now opted for Ronin, citing its potential for scaling and increased user access. The project's soft launch on mobile platforms will now include Ronin users, supplemented by doubled in-game rewards. The transition will also open up Ronin’s ecosystem for more decentralized applications, with a move toward a permissionless model. Rumble Kong League originally began as an NFT collection on Ethereum and has since expanded its collaborations and community presence within the gaming space.
