KULR, a maker of advanced energy-management systems, has announced the purchase of an additional $8 million in Bitcoin (BTC), increasing its holdings to 510 BTC. This brings its total investment in Bitcoin to $50 million. The recent purchase was made at an average price of $101,695 per Bitcoin, equating to approximately 79 additional tokens. KULR had initially revealed its Bitcoin investment strategy in December 2024, aiming to utilize surplus cash in the growing cryptocurrency. The company has reported a year-to-date Bitcoin yield of 127%, reflecting the change in the ratio of its Bitcoin holdings relative to its shares. Since KULR's Bitcoin strategy announcement, its shares have surged 90%, while Bitcoin has seen a moderate increase of 7%. KULR’s stock closed recently at $2.28 and showed a 2.2% increase in pre-market trading.
