Libeara, FundBridge launch onchain US Treasurys fund
Libeara and FundBridge Capital have introduced the Delta Wellington Ultra Short Treasury On-Chain Fund, a tokenized US Treasurys fund operating on the Ethereum blockchain. This initiative enables investors to interact with digital US Treasurys, facilitating subscriptions, transfers, and redemptions through Libeara’s Delta platform, which aims for enhanced transparency and efficiency in fund management. Future expansions are planned for other blockchains including Arbitrum, Avalanche, and Solana. Libeara's CEO, Aaron Gwak, emphasizes the fund's role in legitimizing USD-denominated investments, similar to the tokenized SGD Delta Fund. The collaboration aims to streamline accessibility to traditional assets while cutting down operational costs in asset management. Wellington Management supports the fund with its expertise, and Standard Chartered Bank acts as custodian, reflecting a growing interest from institutional players in digital assets. This launch represents a significant step toward integrating blockchain technology into mainstream finance, opening new avenues for investors.
