Maserati has unveiled the MC20 supercar, which integrates artificial intelligence with high-speed capabilities. This innovative vehicle was showcased at CES 2025 and features advanced technology for autonomous driving, developed in partnership with Politecnico di Milano. Unlike standard autonomous vehicles, which focus on urban navigation, the MC20 aims to deliver both self-driving technology and supercar performance, exceeding speeds over 200 mph and accelerating from 0 to 60 in under three seconds. The MC20 also made headlines as a safety vehicle at the Indy Autonomous Challenge, where it successfully demonstrated its self-driving abilities at high speeds, achieving a record-breaking run of 177 mph without human intervention. The growing supercar market, valued at approximately $19.4 billion, is expected to rise significantly in the coming years as interest in electrification and enhanced performance increases despite challenges such as high costs and regulatory pressures.
