Rapper Megan Thee Stallion, born Megan Pete, has filed a lawsuit against internet personality Milagro Gramz, alleging defamation and online harassment. This lawsuit follows a past court case with Canadian rapper Tory Lanez, who was convicted of shooting Pete in a 2020 incident. The lawsuit claims that Gramz, also known as Milagro Cooper, engaged in online stalking and emotional distress by spreading AI-generated deepfake pornography of Pete. The court documents reveal that while the creator of the deepfake remains unknown, Cooper published a video that referenced this explicit content, encouraging her followers to view it. Pete’s legal team claims this harassment stems from Lanez, accusing Cooper of perpetuating false rumors about Pete's mental health and personal issues. In response, Gramz acknowledged the lawsuit, stating she intends to communicate with Pete's attorney. Pete’s attorneys are seeking compensatory and punitive damages, as well as a court order to stop future harassment. This incident reflects a growing concern over AI-generated deepfake content, as high-profile figures increasingly face such challenges.
