In October 2024, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) experienced an 18% increase in monthly sales volume, reaching $356 million, marking a recovery from a seven-month downward trend. This surge follows a significant decline from a peak of $1.6 billion in March. The total number of NFT transactions also rose sharply, totaling 7.2 million in October, which is a 42% increase from September's five million. Notably, the NFT collection DMarket led in sales with $33 million, followed by Guild of Guardians Heroes at $13 million. While Bitcoin and Ethereum NFTs have maintained strong volumes, Solana-based collectibles contributed nearly $25 million to the overall sales, helping push Solana’s all-time NFT sales volume close to $6 billion and reinforcing its position as the second-ranked blockchain by sales volume.
