Crypto security firm SlowMist identified over 8,620 Solana addresses related to the DEXX hack, which occurred on November 16, resulting in significant losses for approximately 900 users. Initially reported at $21 million, the losses are now estimated to be around $30 million due to fluctuations in meme token prices. One victim reported a loss exceeding $1 million. DEXX is actively working with SlowMist and law enforcement to recover funds and has publicized a bounty for the hacker in hopes of reclaiming the stolen assets. Despite attempts to communicate with the hacker, there has been no response yet. DEXX stated that the extent of user compensation will depend on the amount of recovered funds. The overall trend of hacks in November saw $71 million stolen, bringing the yearly total closer to $1.5 billion, marking a 15% decrease from 2023, despite high-profile incidents.
