Conduit has launched its new G2 sequencer, which the company claims to be 10 times more powerful than existing models for rollup frameworks. The G2 sequencer offers a throughput of 50-100 Mgas/s, enabling blockchain applications to run faster at no extra cost. This advancement is particularly beneficial for complex applications, including Web3 games and DeFi protocols, which face computational limitations. The G2 sequencer ensures high performance even during spikes in user activity, making on-chain applications more viable and affordable. Additionally, Dynex introduced its ambitious plan for a decentralized quantum computing platform, aiming to release the Apollo Chip by 2025, while Hermetica has secured funding for its bitcoin-backed stablecoin, USDh. A new foundation, Exponential Science, was also established to explore the convergence of blockchain with AI and other technologies.
