Delabs Games, a South Korean developer known for its game Rumble Racing Star, announced its plans to introduce the popular Ragnarok franchise to Telegram in Q1 2025. This move comes as part of a strategic pivot toward the messaging platform, supported by new funding from TON Ventures and private investors. The upcoming adaptation of Ragnarok will emphasize maze exploration gameplay while integrating social features tailored for Telegram. Additionally, Delabs plans to bring the mobile game Boxing Star, which has surpassed 70 million downloads, to the platform in Q3 2025. CEO Joonmo Kwon highlighted their goal to enhance recognizable IPs with Web3 advancements while ensuring simplicity. It is noted that this new version of Ragnarok will be separate from another game recently launched on the Ethereum network. Delabs previously explored Telegram gaming with its July release, Giga Chad Bat, and the company aims to establish a strong presence in the gaming community on Telegram, leveraging the unique opportunities the platform offers.
