‘Ragnarok: Landverse’ Expanding to Ethereum Gaming Network Ronin
Ragnarok: Landverse, a crypto game derived from the classic Ragnarok Online, is set to launch on the Ronin gaming network in early 2025. The game, developed by Maxion in partnership with Gravity, has garnered over $15 million in sales and attracted 400,000 players during its soft launch. This new version, known as Ragnarok Landverse: Genesis, will feature blockchain elements, including mineable resources and token rewards. It represents a fresh start, meaning assets from other servers won't be immediately transferable. However, plans are in place to facilitate migration later. Zentry, Maxion's parent company, will also establish a validator node within the Ronin network as part of this expansion. The seventh game in the Ragnarok series to launch on Ronin follows the success of Ragnarok: Monster World. Pre-registration for Ragnarok Landverse: Genesis is now open, allowing players to connect their Ronin wallets for potential rewards ahead of the launch.
