RampMeDaddy, co-founded by Andrey Chabanov and Trevor Hoffman, aims to facilitate seamless cryptocurrency transactions via Telegram, launching the first Telegram-native memecoin wallet. Initially born from a hackathon project at Consensus 2024, this wallet targets the crypto-savvy Telegram user base, where 84% of crypto users have active accounts. Utilizing the Stellar blockchain, RampMeDaddy allows for buying, selling, and trading memecoins and supports cross-border transactions using USDC. With embedded biometric security features and a user-friendly recovery process, the wallet addresses complex payment challenges when users are abroad. Since their hackathon win, RampMeDaddy has partnered with the Stellar Foundation and Draper U Ventures, and plans to launch its wallet alongside a mini-game to boost user engagement. Chabanov and Hoffman envision a future where RampMeDaddy serves as a comprehensive digital wallet solution for identity and payments, while expanding its integrations with various blockchains and decentralized exchanges to provide early access to memecoins.
