Ripple’s pre-Trump hiring spree
Ripple is ramping up its hiring efforts across all departments ahead of a new administration in the U.S., with approximately 75% of its open positions situated domestically. The hiring surge follows the anticipated regulatory shifts in the cryptocurrency sector, often referred to as the 'Trump effect.' Open roles include positions for a general compliance manager and financial systems lead in San Francisco, as well as a KYC/due diligence specialist in New York City, alongside various engineering roles. A Ripple spokesperson noted that while changes in SEC enforcement policy may come swiftly, the company seeks better regulatory clarity to expand its operations significantly. Ripple has recently closed as many enterprise deals in the two months after the election as it did in the previous six months, reflecting an optimistic outlook for the crypto market post-election.
