Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin to list ‘imminently’ on more exchanges
Ripple president Monica Long announced that the Ripple USD (RLUSD) stablecoin is expected to be listed on more major crypto exchanges very soon. In a recent interview, Long emphasized Ripple's efforts to enhance the distribution and availability of RLUSD on additional platforms but refrained from discussing specific listings, such as those on Coinbase. Currently, RLUSD is listed on several exchanges including Bitso and Bullish, and has a market cap of approximately $71.8 million. Notably, over 76% of its trading volume occurs on Bullish, with some trading happening on the decentralized exchange Sologenic. Long also mentioned that demand for RLUSD is driven by Ripple’s payments business, which has doubled over the past year, revealing a strong growth trajectory. Additionally, she anticipates a robust year for stablecoins, as they play a crucial role in facilitating crypto transactions. Furthermore, Ripple is exploring the integration of XRP price feeds to support RLUSD.
