Since Donald Trump’s re-election, Ripple's holdings of XRP have surged in value by approximately $125 billion. XRP was valued at $0.50 on the eve of the 2024 presidential election and has since approached an all-time high of $3.40. Currently, Ripple holds about 4.44 billion XRP in liquid assets and manages nearly 39 billion XRP in total. The company's reported stash of XRP is now valued at $146.48 billion, up from about $21 billion in November 2024. Ripple’s significant gains can be attributed to its efforts alongside other crypto firms to influence U.S. crypto policy during the election cycle. They led a $300 million campaign to reshape regulations and many pro-crypto candidates emerged victorious in November. Trump’s administration is expected to introduce numerous favorable measures for the crypto industry, with Ripple contributing $5 million to the Trump inaugural fund. This election cycle clearly shows how U.S. crypto firms are benefiting from the changing political landscape in their favor.
