The Ronin Network has launched a $10 million grant program aimed at enhancing blockchain development, with a specific focus on gaming, consumer DApps, and DeFi protocols. Announced on January 16, the Ronin Ecosystem Grants initiative seeks to expand the network's capabilities by attracting developers. The grants are divided into two types: builder grants, which can provide up to $300,000 in Ronin tokens, and waypoint gas grants, offering up to $20,000 in funding. Funding will be distributed based on milestone achievements that align with long-term project goals, covering essential costs such as development, audits, and deployment. The program also includes support for user onboarding and enhancing the overall blockchain experience. There is no application deadline, and the review process will take around four weeks. Accepted projects will gain exposure through various Ronin platforms and will have access to a collaborative ecosystem involving team communication, venture capital support, and development tools. Participants interested in multiple grant opportunities will need to apply separately for each. The initiative aims to foster innovation and increase on-chain activity in the Ronin Ecosystem.
