The Ronin Network has launched a $10 million grant program aimed at enhancing blockchain development in areas such as gaming, decentralized applications (DApps), and decentralized finance (DeFi). Announced on January 16, this initiative seeks to draw more developers to the Ronin ecosystem. The grants will be available in two forms: builder grants, which can provide up to $300,000 in Ronin tokens, and waypoint gas grants, which offer up to $20,000 in funding to support crypto-based bridge services. Projects will be funded based on milestones aligned with long-term goals and can cover costs like development, audits, and deployment. The program is part of a broader strategy to facilitate developer collaboration and increase on-chain activity. There is no application deadline, and the review process for submissions is expected to take up to four weeks. Approved projects will receive increased online visibility and access to networking opportunities with industry veterans, venture capitalists, and ecosystem partners. Builders applying for multiple grants will need to submit separate applications for each.
