Fartcoin, a meme coin on the Solana blockchain, has dropped 17% in value following the news that its creator, Andy Ayrey, sold off a substantial amount of his holdings. Ayrey, known for his AI bot Truth Terminal, sold over 20 million Fartcoin tokens in an over-the-counter trade worth more than $22 million. Truth Terminal's wallet had received the tokens after going viral in October 2024. Following the sale, a portion of the funds was used to purchase another meme coin, Goatse Maximus (GOAT), which also saw a slight increase in value. Due to legal complexities surrounding AI bots and asset management, further trading from Truth Terminal is unlikely until more legal clarity is achieved.
