This new app will compete directly with Pump.fun, which has gained popularity for meme coin trading. Founders of Tensor indicated that their new offering stems from a perceived fatigue with NFTs and an emerging interest in tokenized trading experiences. In their posts on social media, they highlighted their vision to improve trading usability and experiences, akin to the early NFT marketplace days. Vector.fun, which has been in private beta, aims to foster a community-centric trading environment, combining trading and social interactions. A waitlist for early access was opened but quickly closed due to high demand. The platform will join a competitive market, including others like Photon, BullX, and Jupiter’s ApePro, as the meme coin trading scene thrives predominantly on Solana.
