Treasure, a Web3 gaming studio, has officially launched its layer-2 mainnet within the ZKsync Elastic Chain ecosystem. The transition, which involves moving over 15 games from Arbitrum, is motivated by a need for better scalability and partnership, according to co-founder Karel Vuong. Treasure previously accounted for roughly 95% of NFT-related transactions on Arbitrum. To facilitate migration of $190 million in its native MAGIC tokens, Treasure is using Hyperlane's interoperability technology. The new layer-2 platform features enhanced wallet systems with native account abstraction, enabling traditional Web2 logins and gasless transactions for users. Additionally, gamers can utilize a Game Exchange (GEX) for token swapping, and various game developments are in progress, including integrations with Magicswap's GEX and expansions into multichain formats.
