World Liberty Financial's WLFI token, aimed at accredited investors in the U.S. and non-U.S. residents, has integrated Chainlink's price feeds for its decentralized finance (DeFi) platform. This strategic move, announced on November 14, will utilize Chainlink oracles on the Ethereum mainnet to enhance the WLFI platform, which is based on an Aave V3 instance. Eric Trump, the Web3 ambassador for World Liberty Financial, emphasized the significance of this partnership, indicating strong confidence in the future of DeFi technology. This integration follows Chainlink's successful pilot program with major financial institutions including UBS and SWIFT, which focused on tokenized fund settlements. Despite competition from other networks like Pyth, Chainlink maintains a leading position with approximately 46% of the total value secured across oracle providers as of October 2024, underscoring its dominance in the oracle market.
