Former US president Donald Trump's crypto project, World Liberty Financial (WLFI), has launched with $11.5 million in initial inflows, sparking significant interest from the cryptocurrency community. In the first sales day, over 8,500 holders participated, although the performance was below expectations, achieving just 3.4% of its $300 million target. The initial token sale saw only 687 million tokens sold, valued at $10.3 million. Despite Trump's strong advocacy for cryptocurrencies during his re-election campaign, the platform's high ownership concentration is notable, with 99.565% of the total supply held by the top 100 holders. The WLFI aims to play a crucial role in Trump's potential administration if he returns to office.
